INSPIRATION & INFLUENCE

UOWCIII’s creative vision is deeply rooted in the aesthetics of commercial art, characterised by its clean and polished nature. Our inspiration stems from environments such as car showrooms, cities, skyscrapers, corporate spaces, branding & signage, fashion houses, art galleries, and expansive, seamless design.

We are influenced by minimalism and imagery that invites contemplation and imagination, for a deeper emotional connection beyond visual appeal.

Melissa Olley, creator of UOWCIII, designs vibrant digital vector images with strong compositions and a flat art style, influenced by editorial works, illustration, and poster design, striving for a contemporary, corporate aesthetic to embody the story of UOWCIII.

Utilising digital tools, the creator designs commercially focused imagery that bridges the gap between authentic fine art and contemporary design. The work conveys playful, yet dynamic narratives, fusing its current function with prospective ambitions within the core compositions and storylines.

Significant inspiration is drawn from corporate cityscapes; the grandeur of skyscrapers, their towering presence, and the vision behind such monumental creations resonate with the brand’s artistic motivation.
